After a recent update from Pier, CEO of Realema we are so excited to share with you all the impact a recent July 2024 VWL donation has had on a community of soon-to-be professional teachers, through Realema.
With the support of VWL and other donors, Realema has had an incredible year; they’ve been able to expand their powerful teaching intern program from 56 to 74 teacher-interns, have maintained an impressive 94% university pass rate, hired additional academic tutors, expanded into new regions across South Africa, and provided essential personal development opportunities to students.
Next year Realema hopes to have 80 teacher interns in their programme and Vintage with Love is on a gently-worn mission to make that a reality!
Together, we are shaping a new generation of educators; and to think how many individual lives a single teacher can and will touch is inspiring.
